Feline Vaccination Guidelines

Our feline vaccination schedule is based on the guidelines set by the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), published in the October 2006 issue of the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association (JAVMA).

Kitten Series (for kittens started at <16 weeks of age)
6 weeks – FRCP with Chlamydia
10 weeks – FRCP with Chlamydia
12 weeks – Rabies
14 weeks – FRCP with Chlamydia

Kitten Series (for kittens started at >16 weeks of age)
18 weeks – FRCP with Chlamydia + Rabies
22 weeks – FRCP with Chlamydia

Booster Shots
FRCP – single dose given 1 year after the kitten series, followed by an interval of 3 years.
Rabies – annual booster is required according to Philippine laws.

*** For kittens started <16 weeks of age, FRCP is administered at 3 doses, 3-4 weeks apart.
*** For kittens started >16 weeks of age, FRCP is administered at 2 doses, 3-4 weeks apart.
*** FRCP stands for feline rhinotracheitis, calicivirus & panleukopenia.
