AVCI is continuously tracking super typhoon Hagupit (locally known as Ruby). Currently, as of 3pm today, typhoon Hagupit is weakening and moving further upward away from Central Visayas. Unless Hagupit changes course and heads for Cebu, AVCI will remain open (except on Sundays) to serve you and your beloved pets. We are continuously praying for this storm to subside. Keep safe! With its theme of choice, this year’s World Veterinary Day aims to increase the society’s interest and concern on how animals are used and treated. AVCI is happy to have participated in giving out free spay services to Aspin dogs during the World Spay Day 2013 hosted at the College of Veterinary Medicine of SWU under Dr. Jocelyn Acido-Tingson. This event was coordinated by the Department of Veterinary Medicine & Fisheries (DVMF) under Dr. Alice Utlang, and sponsored by the Humane Society International (HCI). Veterinary surgeons representing AVCI were Dr. Vanissa Mengullo & Dr. Remaur Herrera.
